Stephanye is a firm believer that community building is at the core of event programming. Through managing Weeksville Heritage Center’s Weeksville Wednesdays, Trophy Bar’s R&B Trivia Night, Year of the Real Black Girl, and Be Reel Black Cinema Club, she has created networks that have spawned lasting friendships, partnerships, and intergenerational dialogue.
